Grace:-
Not until every petal has opened, not until every last drop of your blood has been spilt, not until every bead of sweat has fallen from your skin, not until we brake you open and cripple you from sound, not until the cool breath of God rushes out of you to meet itself, not until the brightness has taken your sight, and the only way to see the rain coming is to know. Not until that final part of you has flayed itself upon the desert sand, and the complete will of your being crushes itself under the word 'yes'... Will I be total in you. Will the sum of yourself be my own, will the blessed glass of transparent love, open in you like the stillness and fragility of water. And when there is really nothing left, you can know you don't belong to yourself, and the curve if your heart beat, is the echo of my first message. To love. ( poem by SwH)
